Biography —
Associate Professor Thomas Lewin (Ph.D. Northwestern, 1974) studied West African socio-economic and political history, oral history methods and practices, and international business history. He completed research on pre-colonial West Africa and the development and expansion of U.S.-based multinational corporations.
Teaching —
Throughout his career, Professor Lewin encouraged his students to maximize their skills of historical inquiry and apply their knowledge to larger social science and business opportunities.
