Biography

Keegan began her Ph.D. studies at KU in fall 2024. Since completing her undergraduate degrees in history and Russian at the University of Montana in 2022, she has worked as an Assistant International Program Coordinator for the Mansfield Center and then as an English tutor in Krakow. Her interests include Cold War relations between the U.S. and the Soviet Union, the intertwining of U.S. and Soviet foreign policy decisions in the 1950s and 1960s, and the evolution of U.S. sanctions policy in the 20th century and beyond. Advised by Erik Scott
