John Andon

John D. Andon is a first-year Ph.D. student, studying 20th century military history under Prof. Adrian R. Lewis. His research interests center on the conduct of Allied forces during the Second World War, primarily in the European and Mediterranean theaters of operation.

Originally from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, John graduated from Villanova University in 2016 with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in both History and Military Science. Commissioned through ROTC, he is a serving officer in the United States Army.

Following the completion of his graduate coursework, John will serve as a military history instructor at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
