History of the United States Through the Civil War
This course examines major themes in American history from the beginning of European colonization of North America to the end of the Civil War. We will cover subjects including encounters between Native Americans and European colonists, the American Revolution, the making of the new republic, the settlement of the West, and the Civil War.
This course meets Goal 3H of the KU Core.
