Biography

I was born and raised in Kansas and received a BA in History from the University of Kansas. My primary research interest is African American Women’s Fashion History in The United States from 1900 to 1910. This subject focuses on Black History, Women's History, Fashion History, and Art History. With my research, I seek to understand how fashion ties into political systems and concepts, such as race and gender identity.
